Our customers are always looking for new and decorative to display their candles. Well today we have added 5 votive candle holders to our website that are both decorative and functional. These two piece votive holders have a rustic iron frame which surrounds a removable glass cup. The sturdy heavy metal frame allows the holder to sit on a table surface, protecting it from the heat created when the candle flame gets near the bottom. Three of these holders have a handle which will also allow for the candles to be hung. Raising your lit candles up will let the candles light up a room better and gives you more options to be creative. The glass containers are larger than a standard votive cups and can be used with votives or tea lights.

Brilliant Ceramic Candle Holders
Today we added the 4th color to our line of ceramic candle holders and pedestal trays. We now have red, yellow, green, and teal. These holders are great for use with our 3 inch and 4 inch diameter pillar candles, or the 16 oz., 26 oz. jars. The colors of these holders are really attractive and each one is coated with a shiny glaze to make it really pop. The holders also have a weathered finish making them look distressed. The pillar holders come in both a 9 inch or 11 inch tall option. The pedestal tray is 4.5 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter and is really nice for use with larger decorative items like vases or bowls. Decorations for Summer Parties
With the 4th of July coming right around the corner many people are looking for patriotic decorating ideas for their parties. Lots of decorative accents in red, white, and blue will be used on tables, walls, doors, and windows. We have a lot of red, white, and blue candles to add to your home decor for the summer holidays but two new products we have found, really stand out. There are red, white, and blue star shaped floating candles in 2 sizes, and a 3 piece set of frosted votive cups with red, white, and blue stars on them. The votive cups will hold a standard size votive candle. The light shinning through the star shaped cutouts create a really neat light show. Wedding Candle Holders
We have some beautiful wedding candle holder sets which include a pillar holder and two taper holders. The holder for the unity candle can be used with a wedding candle up to 4″ in diameter. The two matching taper holders should be used with taper candles with the standard 7/8″ diameter base. These unity candle holder sets are elegant yet simple enough to fit with any wedding theme. Hanging Candle Lanterns
We have new modern looking hanging candle lanterns that can be used both inside or outside. They are nicely put together with a metal frame and have a clear glass cylindrical shade to protect the candle from the wind. These candle holders can also be set on a table because they have a nice flat base. You can use votive candles (in a votive cup), tealites, small jars, or pillar candles in these lanterns. The lanterns come in 2 sizes , 8″ and 9″ tall. These candle lanterns can be combined with other accessories like beaded garland or candle rings to make beautiful table centerpieces for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Your friends and family will rave about these table decorations.
Pillar Candle Holders
So it has been a while since I’ve posted anything new. The reason is because we have been short handed here at the candle factory for the past month and a half. As a result, I was more involved in making the candles than promoting them. Thankfully we have hired a few extra people and now I can get back letting you know what has been added to our product lines and what is going on here at our company.
One of our newest products, just uploaded to the site today, are 3 new candle holders. They are each a different size and made for different diameter candles. The holders are made of poly-resin but have been brushed with a dark stain which gives them the appearance of a mahogany wood… very classy looking.
As we get closer to summer we will begin researching new candle fragrances to add to some of our candle lines. If you have any ideas or suggests for scents you want us to carry let us know so we can let our fragrance houses know which samples to send us.

New Pillar Candle Holders
Two new pillar candle holder style are here. We now have a couple of new wooden pillar candle holders at really affordable prices. Use these wood candle holders around the home or for a special event. The candle holders are designed to be used with 3″ diameter pillar candles. You could put a 4″ diameter candle on them but the candle would stick out over the sides. Each of the two holder styles come in 3 heights which can be purchased separately. The heights are 7″, 11″, and 15″.
Fix The Air Flow
On of the factors that causes container candles to produce soot is turbulent air flow. Candles in any type of enclosure have to fight to regulate the way the air passes in and out of the container. As the flame heats up the air inside the jar candle or other container it rises to the top and out. At the same time, cooler air is being drawn into the container to replace the rising hot air. In an unregulated environment the cool and hot air have to fight get past each other. This causes turbulent air inside the container which makes the flame dance and flicker and put off soot. I’m sure you have seen little round metal or ceramic disks called candle cappers. These have a large hole in the center and smaller holes around the outside. Other than being decorative these have a purpose which is to regulate the air flow in jar candles. The hot air come up through the center hole and the cooler air fills back into the jar through the smaller outer holes. You will notice a big difference in how still the flame stands still if you use one of these.
Another instance where the air flow problem occurs is in hurricanes. Many wedding decorators and brides use hurricane candle holders for their wedding decorations. A small tip that makes a big difference is to place 3 pennies (in the shape of a triangle) under the base of the hurricane shade. This allows cool air to flow in the bottom and hot air to go out the top.
