Wedding Candle Holders

We have some beautiful wedding candle holder sets which include a pillar holder and two taper holders. The holder for the unity candle can be used with a wedding candle up to 4″ in diameter. The two matching taper holders should be used with taper candles with the standard 7/8″ diameter base. These unity candle holder sets are elegant yet simple enough to fit with any wedding theme. We also have brass and silver plated candle holders that are a single piece but will hold a unity candle and two taper candles. Candles Used in WEtv’s My Fair Wedding

We have candles featured in the WEtv’s series My Fair Wedding with David Tutera.   Our pillar candles along with some votive candles were used in the shooting of the “Spring Bride” episode which will be airing on Sunday, June 27 at 4pm | 3c, Thursday, July 1 at 2pm | 1c,  and Monday, July 19 at 11am | 10c.  David and his decorators did a great job using our candles to brighten up the wedding ceremony.  He also used the candles in the room where the reception was held… wow did it look amazing. New Candle Color

We have just added a brand new color to our unscented candle lines called Mediterranean Blue.  This is a hot new color for weddings and events.  We will be the Mediterranean Blue in the pillars, votives, tapers, and floating candles.

Blue is said to have a quite, relaxing effect so decorate with it in rooms where you want peace and serenity such as home offices or libraries.

This color also blends well with some of our other pastels like lime green or mango if you are going for a bright spring/summer look.

New Scroll Unity Candles

We now have a new unity candle line that matches with many of our other wedding accessories.  It is our palm wax “scroll” design candles.  These 8.5" candles have slightly crystallized look because of the nature of the palm wax.  The scroll pillar candles are approximately 3" in diameter.  There is a nice variety of colors available in the unity candle line.  These wedding candles are unscented.

New Product Category

We are happy to announce that we have added a new product category to our website… Wedding Accessories.   This new category includes items such as ring pillows, toasting flutes, guest book and pen sets, flower girl baskets, and more.  Many of the accessories in each of these categories has matching items in other categories.  For example you will find the Blush Ivory design in the toasting flutes, guest book and pen sets, flower baskets, garters, and ring pillows.  Some of these wedding accessories will also have a matching Unity Candle such as the “scroll” design.  The Unity Candle for this design will be added shortly.

We have also added a number of new Unity Candle designs and some taper and pillar holder wedding sets.  If you have a wedding coming up or have friends who are engaged be sure to look at what we have.

Bridal Poem Candle Set

In an earlier post about wedding ideas and bridal shower gifts we talked about a bridal poem that used taper candles to mark special events in a married couples life. Well, we figured that if we had listed a wedding poem that used candles and we make candles, maybe we should put a set of candles together to go with the poem. (I know, rocket science right) So we have just added a new taper candle set just to fit the bridal poem. The set only includes the taper candles so you will need some sort of basket and lace to make it pretty. If you want to gift some taper holders we have those too but they are sold separately. Let me know what you think. I think that this is a great idea for a wedding gift.

2009 Wedding Colors

The color trends for wedding decorations have been moving away from strictly white and ivory and more toward bold, vibrant colors. Some examples of these 2009 designer colors are hot pinks, bright oranges, tiffany blue, yellows, and purples. These fresh trendy colors help make the wedding atmosphere fun and bright. Use some modern accessories to give your wedding decor a classy touch. White and ivory decorations will always be part of wedding decorating but a splash of strategically placed color can have a really nice affect. Scent or No Scent?

Don’t rule out scent at your wedding reception. Choose candles that have a fruit or food related fragrance, such as vanilla, chocolate, apples, or berries. Still think scent is not right for your wedding? Use unscented candles from our pillar, votive, floater, and taper lines.

The Perfect Color

Don’t stress if we don’t have your “perfect” color. The lights in reception rooms are usually dim. The color trends for this year are bold, exotic, and bright. Aqua, Hot pink, oranges, yellows and lime green are the colors for 2009! Don’t want to go too bold? Use these shades as a splash of color in your candle arrangements.

Destination wedding

Want a destination wedding, but guests can’t afford to travel? Make the destination your wedding theme. Use exotic, tropical colors in your wedding candles and accessories.

Pearls and Ribbons

Create candle designs that are truly your own and save cash at the same time! Craft Stores carry pearl pins that you can pin to your wedding candles, and attach a ribbon in your wedding colors.

Unique Tables

Not all of the table centerpieces need to be exactly alike. You can decorate with a set of 3 pillars on one table and on the next table have a bowl with floating candles. The use of reed diffusers as a centerpiece can add dimension that is visually and aesthetically stimulating.
